Sinopec Foam Cementing System developed by SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Engineering won the Gold Award of Innovative Product at China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (cippe2018) held at New China International Exhibition Center, Beijing China.

Gold Award of Innovative Product has the reputation of “Oscar” in petroleum and petrochemical industry. The evaluation committee is composed of academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, senior experts of energy companies and presidents of petroleum universities.

Nearly 10,000 kinds of products submitted by 1,800 exhibitors from 65 countries and regions participated in the competition of 2018 Gold Award of Innovative Product. At last, Sinopec Foam Cementing System became the final winner in view of its ingenious techniques and excellent performance in the field of Low-density cement slurry cementing.

The Expert Evaluation Committee Awarded the Certificate

Sinopec Foam Cementing System is the unique foamed cementing equipment in the world, based on the real-time process control system and liquid nitrogen gasification developed by Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Engineering. The system is designed to use advanced liquid nitrogen gasification control and foam generation technology under high pressure to improve the efficiency and automatic control.

With advanced automatic control system, the product realized the density error of ±0.03g/cm3. The System takes less area and can meet a broad range of requirements for cementing in low-pressure field and shale gas field. In addition, it achieved 5 patents from 14 applications and 2 software copyright.
